Did this video help you?

Ray Cut: Hai Gwido , looks like you overlooked my question ? I think it takes much more than a resonance contraption; well maybe a variable induction manifold system plus other in any case thanks

Wade H: First of all thank you for the video. I do have some questions regarding this car, theres a used 2013 911 C4 at my local dealer comes with PDK, no sports chrono pkg. since I'm just going to used it for commute do you think C4 is more than enough? Also is sport chrono a must have?

ferw swer: prefer pdk or manual ?

Ray Cut: Gwido I do not understand that with a "simple " resonance flap can have such drastic effects on torque / revs .
A combination with the extra cc and volumetric efficiency / camshafts' profiles and so forth , ok . could one check and where
almost daily I upload this video thanks - ray

Heli: +TheGetawayer just out of curiosity, do you remember if at that time you test drove the C4 on summer/winter tires?

ali pontiac: 991 have electric power steering a bit of lack in feeling..did you feel that the carrera 4 steering feel better than the normal carrera?? some one say the front axles give a better feel and feedback to the electric power steering is that true??

2B055: Thanks for the review Guido! I just bought a 2015 991 carrera 4 Cab PDK, their was a fully optioned out 991 C2S Cab 7spd manual for the same price but I chose the C4 with PDK so I could drive it all seasons. I noticed the steering wheel feel is precise but kind of heavy and not being electronically aided in any way, is that because I don't have PASM? I only have the sport button no sport plus or launch control as it doesn't have the sport chrono package. When accelerating the car feels kind of sluggish and doesn't slam me into the seat when I go WOT like my old 997.2 C2S Cab. Kinda of regretting my decision and not going with the loaded 991 C2S but chose this C4 for awd practicality and PDK. Do you think the car doesn't feel as fast because of the AWD? Maybe the power isn't being distributed to the rear wheels as much as I would hope for and more equally but less powerfully being distributed to the front wheels causing the car to not give me the pushed into my seat feeling what I was used to in my C2S? I love how smooth the PDK is though and how fast it shifts, way more relaxing to drive compared to my old manual C2S! I also love the widened rear end with the connecting taillight and I think it looks stunning in all black!

991 C4: Thank you for this video and all your hard work. Just bought my first 991 Carrera 4. I spent hours watching your videos, thanks for all the help.

Upscale Audio High Fidelity: Great review!  It's funny how many critics say that driving the manual is so much more satisfying yet in the U.S. maybe 90% of the cars are sold with PDK!  People don't know what they are missing.  Thanks for a super review.

Jeff Puha: To answer "Mr K's" question, the rev-matching feature is available on all of the 911's that have the manual gearbox option, as long as you get the Sport Chrono package. So, it's available on all of the 911 models except the GT3 and the Turbo's.

Mr K: The new manual gearbox would be a lot of fun. What other models is it available on?

Doug Maverick: Great videos.
I notice that when you downshift and the car rev-matches you get the great pops and burbles from the sport exhaust.
Will you get the same sounds if you are not in sport+ mode so no rev matching, but still have the sport exhaust on?
I'm asking because the car I'm interested in does not have the rev matching feature, but has the sport exhaust.

fesch198: Hey Guido, love your Porsche reviews :). I did a 3 hour Harz mountains and Autobahn tour in a Carrera 4S Coupé today. It had the PDK (with the sport design wheel), Sport Chrono, PDCC (not sure if it had the PASM Sportfahrwerk), LED lights and Sport exhaust to name the more important options. I had some much fun on twisty bits, even more than I had in an R8 V10 Spyder (S-Tronic) that i drove on a similar Harz tour. The car just gives you so much confidence and corners incredibly flat with the PDCC. The PDK is a bit tame in Sport mode but once i went into Sport Plus you could instantly tell the difference. You get a little kick in the back on upshifts at high rpms, downshifts also seem more engaging and you get more/louder pops and burble on the overrun. Can't imagine how this is improved in the GT3 :D. Would love to try a manual one day, auto-revmatching really is a great feature. I totally agree that the looks alone are an argument to go for the all wheel drive, especially at night. Traction was imense out of 2nd gear hairpins and when using launch control. I guess the real andvantge over the 2/2S comes with rain and winter.
The car also had the Sport Design Paket with the Entenbürzel. Great homage to the 2.7 RS and simply looks stunning.
Thanks and keep it up. I'm looking forward to more 911/Boxster/Cayman reviews. Hopefully i will call one of these my own in the future.
Viele Grüße

jan pajtl: Very good job my friend ,i really enjoy all of your videos, thank you

psychomat64: I have a 991 C4 with PDK and PASM. Fantastic car. The only pain in the ass are rattle sounds mostly in both doors...

Ramnath Iyer: Very very nice review.......practical and absolutely to the point.............just like the car you were driving..........Thank you..............Just one question though........I have driven Audi's and iin all the models I've driven , you get a typical dead feeling from the stering wheel............does the same feeling arise when you drive the 991 model ?Because f there is one thing all PorschePhiles complain about : its the Electric steering which lacks feel............is  it true?

u16765: jesus, your english is just "brutal schlecht"!

Andrew Qian: I was always against the auto rev match but now that you say it, I can see this being useful around town if you have passengers. I never manage to get all my downshifts perfectly smooth but maybe one day :D

pandaK9: Great job with the review. Very comprehensive. Just one question. Is a car equipped with PASM more comfortable when in the softest suspension setting than a car with standard suspension? I know that ride height is dropped 10mm, so I was wondering what the effect is.

C Anderson: very thoughtful, balanced, and helpful.
