Classic Retro Game Room: lol, it is almost dead :( i use my laptop for most things now though!

SKazclaw: Q6600 and 8800gt, a classic build!!

Classic Retro Game Room: i don't use it much any more, usually when i do 16 bit console gameplays now.

Ruffduty: your tower sounds like the Alarm on James bond Game on Nintendo 64

Classic Retro Game Room: why?

Ruffduty: i really think u need a new Pc tower lol

Classic Retro Game Room: you have aids

Garth McCreery: dear god that cable management is awful...

Game Ragers: Well, i had many overheating problems when i used the stock cooler. My system also freezes when i overclock the CPU over 2.60ghz. This board apparantly. has some kind of design flaw where the chips cant supply enough voltage to overclock the cpu, therefore making the system very unstable and crash. Look on google. Many people have issues overclocking core 2 quads on this board, but core 2 duos overclock fine. Very very annoying. ASUS TEST YOUR PRODUCTS...

Classic Retro Game Room: my pc still goes well today, the technology has slowed down a lot since the early pc days, i can manage a small overclock on my cpu but it will freeze randomly after an hour or 2 so i don't bother, do you have any problems with the northbridge running really hot? i have to point a fan at the heatsink.

Game Ragers: I have the Same motherboard and specs as you except i have a geforce 9800gt. You can overclock the CPU (slightly) to 2.57ghz. Its worth overclocking slightly if you want a 0.2fps increase. Anyways good video. Q6600 rocks.

David Needleman: Personally I've always used a battery grip on my SLR's and DSLR's. I find the convenience of the extra battery capacity to outweigh (no pun intended) the drawbacks of the extra weight. It doesn't add that much weight, really. I like the fact the grips have controls on them, makes it easier shooting in portrait orientation than cranking my right wrist/arm around at an odd angle to hit the shutter on top of the camera. When I get the 7D MKII I will be getting the grip & extra battery also.
